Who we are
Alpha Energy Group Ltd installs solar panels, battery storage, air source heat pumps and insulation for homes across South Wales. We are the data controller for the details you submit through this website.
Registered in England and Wales, company number 12528640. Registered office 4 Hendre Road, Llangennech, Llanelli SA14 8TG. We were formerly named CT Eco Ltd and changed our name on 4 July 2026; the company, and therefore the data controller, is unchanged. ICO registration number [to be confirmed]. What we collect
The eligibility form asks for the following, and nothing else:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your address, town or city, and postcode
- Your property type, and whether you own, rent or let it
- How your home is currently heated
- Which upgrade you are interested in
We do not ask for financial details, bank details or anything about your health or household circumstances. The form does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use what you tell us to work out which grant schemes may apply to your property, to contact you about your enquiry, and to arrange a survey if you want one.
Our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You asked us for a quote, and this is what we need in order to give you one. If you later become a customer, we also process your details to perform that contract and to meet legal obligations such as tax records and installation certification.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for anyone else’s marketing.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and store enquiries. They act on our instructions and cannot use your details for their own purposes:

Where any of these providers processes data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the safeguards in their data processing terms. If we take on an installation for you we may also share the details needed with certification bodies such as MCS, with Ofgem for a Boiler Upgrade Scheme claim, and with subcontractors carrying out part of the work.
How long we keep it

You can ask us to delete your details sooner — see below. If you do, we will unless we are required to keep something for one of the reasons above.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the details we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your details
- Restrict or object to how we use them
- Send your details to another provider

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right — see our complaints procedure.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details we will update this page and change the review date at the top.
